Z-Pan and A-Pan Steel Belt Conveyors

Mayfran’s Z-Pan and A-Pan conveyors are used in foundry (hot forgings with temperatures ranging from 400° and 2,200° F), mining, car shredding, scrap yard, pulp and high-speed hammer mill shredding of car batteries. These heavy-duty belts are uniquely designed to offer ultimate performance even in high-impact or unpredictable loading conditions, such as curbside waste or demolition refuse.

The conveyors are available in various belt configurations and in either open- or closed-frame construction. Mayfran offers its Z-Pan and A-Pan conveyors in pitches of 9″, 12″ or 400 mm, depending on load and temperature specifications.

Mayfran’s Z-Pan and A-Pan conveyors also feature:

  • Bottom reinforcements on each pitch
  • ASCE rails on belt carrying tracks and 3/8″-thick wear-resistant bars on return tracks on open frames
  • Hardened pins
  • Electrical controls with constant or variable speed drives

Z-Pan and A-Pan conveyors are energy efficient and optimized for scrap loads. They are easy to maintain and install and offer safety measures to protect workers. Our application engineers can work with you to develop your specifications for your particular application.
