Mayfran’s hot forging conveyors are designed to move parts that can reach temperatures between 400° and 2,200° F during the hot forging process. The conveyors, which receive parts from either forging presses or another conveyor, are available in various belt configurations and in either open- or closed-frame construction. Mayfran offers its hinged steel-belt hot forging conveyors in pitches of 2.5″, 4″, 6″ or 9″, depending on load and temperature specifications. Mayfran also offers 9″ pitch Z-Pan conveyors according to your specific needs.

The hot forging conveyors are also equipped with a reinforced belt-top plate, with reinforcements welded across the top surface of each pitch. It also has welded 1/4″-thick wear-resistant bars on the belt carrying and return tracks on closed-panel frames. On open frames, it is equipped with ASCE rails on belt carrying tracks and 3/8″-thick wear resistant bars on return tracks.

Mayfran’s hot forging conveyors also come with several application-specific options, including:

  • Double-strand chains
  • Impact shoes and load bars
  • Hardened pins
  • Steel hardened rollers
  • Stainless steel belting, pins, hinge sleeves and steel bushings
