Mayfran
Pumpback System image

Pumpback Stations

Mayfran’s pumpback stations are designed around the needs of the machine and chips produced. They fluidize chips to better pump them and the coolant to an overhead heavy-duty coolant return header. From there, they are transferred to a central or regional filter.

They can include:

  • A lift conveyor for low discharge
  • Shredders or crushers for strings and turnings
  • Drag conveyors for broken chips and larger coolant holding requirements

If the facility layout allows it, several machines can discharge into a single pumpback system, which can either have independent controls or be controlled by the machine tool.
