We recently asked Ben Bailey our VP of Sales and Marketing about his experience within the industry, as well as his Mayfran experience.
Ben has overseen the Sales and Marketing department here at Mayfran International for over five years; And with the company for over a total of eight years. Being the VP of Sales and Marketing, Ben specializes in various areas within the company, such as customer service and relations, negotiations, business development, team building and leadership, vast product knowledge, and much more. His machinery industry knowledge and love for the industry began at an early age; Ben grew up in the mfg industry through a family-owned fabrication and machining company. He recalls the first CNC machine, as well as many more machining events throughout the industry’s timeline. Being at Mayfran, Ben has been able continue his journey as well as working for a company that “Is the best in the business.”
Ben acknowledges how Mayfran products address the customers’ needs: “Mayfran provides products that are proven with the highest quality and support after the sale. [Our] products… are known for solving many of the toughest material handling issues to keep factories operating 24/7.” And this is important as “all industries look for uptime, reliability, and longevity because down time is not taken lightly.”
Ben also stated that another advantage of Mayfran is that “[we] have over 850 major scrap handling systems in various industries globally, [as well as an] international presence strategically located in North America, Europe, Japan, & India… All locations have full manufacturing capabilities for all Mayfran products.” Which means that Mayfran has the experience and capabilities to provide solutions and support to customers all around the globe.
“Mayfran’s Machine Tool Division specifically solves cutting chip and coolant management right at the machine with our equipment integrated into the machine tool. Customers rely on Mayfran equipment to reduce their down time, separate fine particulates from cutting fluids to positively impact tool life, part quality and support machine automation for lights out applications” explained Ben; he also highlighted our Solid Waste solutions – “we focus on conveyors for large recycling facilities where tons per hour of processed materials need to reliably be transported into balers, sorting systems, and/or between processing equipment.”
Mayfran has always separated itself from the competition, as it’s what makes our solutions so satisfactory. Ben agrees and says “We have a vast knowledge that allows us to apply the correct equipment for the application. We have ten application engineers on staff that specialize in all our products. This separates us from all the competitors by knowing that we wish to provide the right solutions for the lifespan of our customers, and not just get a quick and careless sale”. Ben also remarked that “Our conveyors have options to handle nearly every application whereas our competitors may not”. This is true as Mayfran offers a wide range of application solutions for machining, grinding, metalworking, stamping, forging, parts washing, cooling and quenching, recycling, food processing, and much more.
Special thanks to Ben for taking time out of his busy schedule to share his experiences with us!
